First Disney Skyliner Gondola Unveiled

Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman, Bob Chapek unveiled the Disney Gondola to the attendees of D23’s Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse event.

The Disney Skyliner gondola system is scheduled to be available for guests in the fall of 2019.

The system will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios® and Epcot®  to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort,  Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the proposed DVC property, Disney’s Riviera Resort.

A selection of the gondolas are to be adorned with Disney characters in such a way that will make it appear that the character is riding along in the gondola with the guests.

A unique advantage of riding in the gondola system will be the amazing views of the parks that the rider will have from the sky.

An exciting new transportation option to we all look forward to trying out  in the fall of 2019.
