EPCOT Attractions
Having a plan in place when you visit EPCOT can save you loads of valuable vacation time. EPCOT is huge! Don’t underestimate the time it may take you to get from an attraction on one end of the park to an attraction on the other side. Here is a list of all the EPCOT attractions to help you make that must-do list for your visit.
World Celebration
- Spaceship Earth
- Take a ride inside of the EPCOT icon itself. You will explore innovations that range from as far back as the Stone Age, up until the Digital age. Smooth ride experience. If you are utilizing a wheelchair or ECV, you must be able to transfer to a standard wheelchair and then to the ride vehicle to experience this attraction.
World Discovery
- Mission: Space
- Simulated Space Launch, not for the sensitive stomachs. There are two versions, however, the “Green” mission and the “Orange” mission. The Green mission is the less intense of the two. There is a 40 inch height requirement for the Green mission and a 44 inch height requirement for the Orange mission. As far as accessibility goes, you must be able to transfer from your wheelchair or ECV.
- Test Track
- Design your very own concept vehicle and then put it through the paces on the test track. You’ll experience sudden stops and sharp turns on this indoor/outdoor attraction that will close in the event of bad weather. Riders must be at least 40 inches and if applicable, you must be able to transfer from your wheelchair or ECV.
- Walt Disney Imagineering presents the EPCOT Experience (closed until further notice)
- A self paced tour of displays which showcase the extensive changes coming to EPCOT in the future. There is also a short film that runs repeatedly. This attraction is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Adrenaline junkies will not be disappointed with the 360 degrees of rotation of this reverse launch coaster.
World Nature
- Awesome Planet
- A ten minute film about our planet Earth. Takes place in a climate controlled theater with theater style seating. The theater is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
- Experience 3D animated short films in a climate controlled theater with theater style seating. The theater is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Journey Into Imagination With Figment
- A climate controlled, indoor ride, through the Imagination Institute with the friendly purple dragon, Figment. The attraction is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Living With the Land
- A slow moving boat ride through the greenhouses of The Land where you will get to see some super innovative growing techniques being used right there at EPCOT. The experience is indoors, and lasts about 15 minutes. If you are utilizing a Wheelchair or ECV, you must be able to transfer to a standard wheelchair to experience this attraction.
- Sea Base
- Loads to see in this 5.7 million gallon aquarium. This is a self paced walking tour where you get great views of shark, turtles, dolphins, and lots of colorful fish. Sometimes you can even catch some scuba divers swimming about as well. This attraction can be experienced from your wheelchair or ECV.
- Soarin Around the World
- A hang gliding experience that takes you around the world. Surrounded by a massive screen, your seat will lift you up off the ground, giving you the feeling of flight as you watch the POV digital projection and feel the wind on your face. The experience is indoors and climate controlled. There is a 40 inch minimum height requirement, and if applicable, you must be able to transfer from your wheelchair or ECV.
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
- Climb aboard your very own clamobile to join your friends from “Finding Nemo”. This experience is indoors with climate control. Your clamobile will transport you for nearly five minutes through the seas (actually, through the aquarium). If you are using a wheelchair or ECV, you must be able to transfer to a standard wheelchair to experience this attraction.
World Showcase
- America Gardens Theatre
- This is a large amphitheater facing the World Showcase Lagoon, where you can catch live concerts throughout the year. The theater is outdoors with stadium style seating, and is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Beauty and the Beast Sing Along
- Located in the France pavillion, this is a newer attraction consisting of a 15 minute version of Beauty and the Beast. Indoors and climate controlled. The theater is wheelchair and ECV friendly as well.
- Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360
- A Circle-vision 360 film exploring Canada. This 15 minute presentation is indoors with climate control, you’ll want to note, though, that there is no seating available. It is standing room only. The theater is, however, wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Frozen Ever After
- A super popular slow moving boat ride where you will visit the home of the ice princess herself. Located in the Norway pavillion, your viking ship tour of Arendelle will last about 5 minutes, and often has a long wait time. Without a Fastpass, this ride is best experienced early morning or late evening. Indoors, climate controlled, and if applicable, you must be able to transfer from your wheelchair or ECV to experience this attraction.
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
- A slow moving boat ride located in the Mexico Pavillion and starring The Three Caballeros. In addition to the funny animated antics, you’ll see some beautiful Mexican sights. Indoors, climate controlled, and if you are utilizing a wheelchair or ECV, you must be able to transfer to a standard wheelchair to experience this attraction.
- Impressions de France
- Located in the France pavillion, within the same theater as the Beauty and the Beast film, this 18 minute film is shown in the evenings, while Beauty and the Beast plays during the day. Indoors, climate controlled, with theater style seating. The theater is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- Reflections of China
- Circle-vision 360 film showcasing China. The 15 minute film plays in an indoor, climate controlled theater with no seats. Standing room only. The theater is, however, Wheelchair and ECV friendly.
- The American Adventure
- This is a 30 minute digital projection show that highlights American history, and is narrated by audioanimatronic versions of Mark Twain and Ben Franklin. This experience takes place indoors with climate control, and theater style seating. Very impressive presentation here. The theater is wheelchair and ECV friendly.
