About Us
Welcome to Make Time For Magic!
Decades ago, I took an infant and a toddler on their first trip to Disney. As a frequent visitor of local theme parks, my plan was simply to grab a map upon our arrival into each park. So, after booking a room at the then, brand new, All Star Movies Resort, I purchased park tickets and didn’t give it much more thought until our arrival at Disney. Soon after stepping into the Magic Kingdom, it became apparent that a little prior planning would have been very helpful. Now, mind you, we were excited and had a great time, but not without some added frustration and FOMO that could have been avoided.
Our Disney vacation was magical and we created lifelong memories. However, the approximately 25,000 acres of amazing was overwhelming, and since I had not done any planning in advance, I did end up squandering large chunks of our precious vacation time.
Fast forward twenty five years, and I have since planned many, many Disney trips of all different types. I have planned for many family members and friends, and friends of family members. Small children, tweens, teens, teens with friends, grandparents, adult children, adult children with their significant others, groups of friends, and couples only. We’ve maneuvered through the parks with double strollers, with ECVs and with wheelchairs.
We created this site because we know that vacation time is precious, and we want to share our experiences to help you avoid the mistakes we’ve made and to take advantage of what we have learned. A little prior planning will go a long way, and I have found that time spent planning can pay off with an amazing Disney trip!
My desire is to provide as much information as possible to anyone who has decided to plan that magical trip! I have two goals. The first is to share information and tips to help you make the most of your time at Disney. The second is to encourage everyone to take the time to make those Disney memories.
